Welcome to our Sunday worship after Storm Eunice. Today we think about the story of Adam and Eve’s encounter with the serpent and its literally fatal consequences. We turn to God in storm and trouble:

First the old sad story from Genesis 3:

Genesis 3 marks the beginning of a long and sorry history – but in 1 Corinthians 15 (utterly wonderful chapter – go away and read it all!) Paul tells us how the darkness has been driven back. 1 Corinthians 15: 20-28

Talk by Glyn – “Snakes and Saviours”

We close with one of the vert greatest hymns in the English language – “When I survey the wondrous cross…”
