Sunday October 4th 2020 Morning Worship

4 October 2020 glyn

This morning we look at the last of our Face-to-Face encounters with Jesus, as he meets his friends Mary, Martha and Lazarus in John 11. We see here a life that nothing can destroy, love that not even death can break. But first we sing God’s praises.

Now we bring to God our prayers

Our reading today is John 11:17-44 – The raising of Lazarus.

Talk by Glyn: FacetoFace with Jesus – The friends’ tale.

For those can’t open the video – use the audio player below:

We bring our prayers for a world in need:

We worship a living Lord – Jesus, raised from the dead. So we close with “Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son”:

Now we say the blessing for each other – together and apart.
