Sunday Worship July 18th 2021

18 July 2021 glyn

Today we start a new series on the Psalms, begin with Psalm 121 for reasons which will become apparent. Let’s begin by singing Psalm1 – “All people that on earth do dwell.”

Now we bring our prayers to God:

Our reading is Psalm 121 – The Lord is your keeper

1 I lift up my eyes to the hills.
    From where does my help come?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
    who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot be moved;
    he who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, he who keeps Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is your keeper;
    the Lord is your shade on your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day,
    nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all evil;
    he will keep your life.
8 The Lord will keep
    your going out and your coming in
    from this time forth and for evermore.

Talk by Glyn – “The Lord is your keeper”

Now we bring to God our prayers for the church and the world:

Our closing song: Before the throne of God above…..

Our worship in church this morning is followed by Church Meeting. Please keep us in your prayers.

Now let’s close by saying the Grace for each other:
