Michaelmas Term 2012

We begin our study of Romans on October 7th.  More details are here.

Desperate to see them and hoping to visit n his way to the mission field in Spain, Paul wrote to the church in Rome to introduce himself and the message, good news!, that he was called to share.   The essay-length letter which resulted has been central to the thinking of the Christian church ever since, expressing as it does the very heart of what God did for us in Jesus and what he continues to do by his Spirit at work within us.  Romans has been the theological text which has powered every revival in the history of the church.  We cannot afford to neglect it in our straitened times.  Do join us at 6.30pm on Sunday evenings.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” Colossians 3:16
